Rendering – Sand and Cement – English Stucco Finishes

Sand and cement external rendering to a 1930s property in Bexley Kent.

The original pebble dash was removed by the client because it had blown, they called Grants plastering ltd for advice and to provide them with a quotation.

We then proceeded by having our own scaffolding company erect a scaffold for our safety whilst working.

We then fixed mordern angle beads to the external angles and bellcast beads above the windows and french doors.

We then proceeded with a scratch coat and left it to cure for a few days.

The next stage of works was to apply the finish float coat, after straightening and rubbing up with a poly float we then gave the render a sponge fine float finish.

This type of rendering can be left as it is or can be painted once fully cured.

The client was very happy with the results and we have also re rendered and plastered the inside of the property from top to bottom.
